Privacy notice

This page explains what happens to information you give us through itslume.com. Lume is based in Switzerland and handles personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email address, business name, and whatever you write in the message field. You choose what to put there.
  • Booking: if you book a call, our scheduling provider (Cal.com) collects your name, email, and chosen time in order to create the appointment.
  • Hosting logs: our host (Netlify) records standard request data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes.

We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data to anyone.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, to hold the call you booked, and to keep records of client correspondence. We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly ask us to.

Who else sees it

Only the processors needed to run the site: Netlify (hosting and form delivery), Cal.com (scheduling), and Google Fonts (typeface delivery, which involves a request to Google servers). Each holds data under its own terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months. Client correspondence is kept for the duration of the engagement plus the retention period Swiss commercial law requires. TO CONFIRM: exact retention period with your adviser.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to contact@itslume.com and we will respond within 30 days.
